Beautiful bright work from the Provençal school of the early 20th century which represents a view of the Batterie Basse at Cap Brun in Toulon.
The artist used a very colorful color palette in order to best represent the light and lush vegetation of the shores of the Mediterranean in summer.

Located at the entrance to the harbor of Toulon, the Batterie basse du Cap Brun is a former military base that extends over 2 hectares along the Mediterranean coast. Today, the site is managed by the city of Toulon and constitutes one of the last natural sites in a very urbanized environment.

Nb: Old restorations, without impact, are visible on the back of the canvas.

Dimensions: 24 x 41 cm without frame and 33 x 50 cm with its original wooden frame.
