Beautiful work finely made by the painter Maurice Louis Monnot which represents a table corner in the kitchen decorated with a copper, a glass bottle, ladles, eggshell ... The artist has a total mastery of his brush by the finesse of the details and especially the play of light on the copper.
A student of Joseph Bail, Maurice Louis Monnot exhibited at the Salon des artistes français from 1906 and at the Salon des indépendants from 1913. Painter of still lifes and rustic interior scenes, he is famous for his copper effects which will earn him numerous prizes in Paris and in the provinces.
Dimensions: 35.5 x 24.5 cm without frame and 50.5 x 39.5 cm with its original wooden frame.
