Beautiful work by the painter René Seyssaud which represents a landscape on the banks of the pond of Berre.
The artist creates a bright and colorful composition playing on contrasts and the play of light.

A student of Pierre Grivolas at the School of Fine Arts in Avignon, his career took shape when he met the painter François Honnorat, art broker, who became his patron and dealer. He frequented the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, the Salon des Indépendants, the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Tuileries. He also exhibits in numerous galleries in France (Galerie Bernheim..) and abroad (Amsterdam, Barcelona, New York..).
A landscape painter, René Seyssaud endeavors to show the landscapes of his region, in particular Vaucluse, the surroundings of Saint-Chamas and the local life of its inhabitants.

Dimensions: 27 x 41 cm without frame and 40.5 x 54.5 cm with its gilded wooden frame.
